Cracked or smashed van windscreen? We replace it with OEM-quality glass, fitted to manufacturer spec, mobile to your location β and we handle your insurance claim.
A van windscreen is a structural part of your vehicle. It supports the roof in a rollover and is the backing surface your passenger airbag deploys against. That's why we only do full replacements with correctly bonded, OEM-quality laminated glass β not quick fixes that leave you back at square one.
Whether you drive a courier Hiace, a fleet of Transits, a Sprinter motorhome or a single tradie's iLoad, we source the correct glass for your exact van and fit it to the manufacturer's specification. Most replacements are completed in around two hours, and we'll tell you the safe drive-away time before we leave.
Many newer vans β including current Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter and LDV Deliver 9 models β have a forward-facing camera mounted to the windscreen for lane-keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. When the windscreen is replaced, these systems must be recalibrated so they read the road correctly. We'll advise whether your van needs recalibration and arrange it as part of the job.
Most of our work is insurance-based. We deal with all the major NZ insurers, manage the claim paperwork and invoice your insurer directly, so the only thing you pay is your excess (if any). Not insured? We'll give you a firm, fair price up front with no surprises.
We replace windscreens on every van on New Zealand roads. See the full list of makes and models we cover.
