For most common vans in Auckland, we can replace the windscreen the same day you call. We carry glass for the most popular models — Toyota Hiace, Ford Transit, Hyundai iLoad, LDV, Mercedes Sprinter, Nissan NV200 and more — and if we don't have yours in stock, we can usually source it within a few hours from local suppliers.

Same-day service depends on three things: glass availability, your location, and the time you call. Morning calls have the best chance of same-day fitting. If you call late afternoon, we may book you for the next morning.

How the Mobile Service Works

We come to you. Your depot, job site, driveway, or workplace — anywhere across Auckland. Our mobile technicians carry everything needed for a professional replacement: the correct glass, primers, urethanes, tools, and equipment to handle bonded or rubber-set installations.

Here's what happens:

1. You call or message us with your van details and location. We check glass availability and give you a time window.
2. We arrive at your location with the correct glass and all necessary materials. Most jobs take 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
3. We replace the glass to manufacturer specification, including proper urethane bonding and sensor calibration where needed.
4. We advise safe drive-away time — typically 1 to 4 hours depending on the urethane type and weather. We won't rush this step.

What Affects Same-Day Availability?

• Glass availability — Common van models are usually in stock. Rare imports or older models may need to be sourced, which can take 24–48 hours.
• Features on the glass — Rain sensors, ADAS cameras, and heating elements require specific glass types. We keep the most common ones in stock.
• Your location — We cover all of Auckland from North Shore to Papakura. Distance doesn't affect availability, but it helps us schedule efficiently if we know your suburb early.
• Weather — Heavy rain can delay outdoor mobile fitting. We may reschedule to a covered area or wait for a break in the weather.

Insurance Claims and Same-Day Service

If you're claiming through insurance, same-day service is still possible. We can often start the job while waiting for insurer approval, especially if the damage makes the van unsafe to drive. We invoice your insurer directly once the claim is authorised.

Most major NZ insurers — AA, State, AMI, Vero, FMG, Tower — authorise van glass claims quickly because it's a safety issue. We deal with them regularly and know what information they need.
